Hause
A familiar identity, with room for a broader offer.

Overview
Hause is a Vancouver studio working across bespoke millwork, custom furniture, interiors and curated home goods. Following the original identity and website in 2024, the studio’s expansion into retail and a downtown showroom prompted a second phase in 2026. The task was to extend the brand’s reach while preserving the character and recognition established at launch.
01
The Brief
Hause’s growth brought different ways of engaging with the business: commissioning bespoke work, specifying for a project or purchasing from the collection. The identity needed to give each a clear place within the same brand. The website also had to support a growing retail offer and give the team greater control over its day-to-day management.

02
The Idea
The existing H monogram provided a recognizable foundation for the next phase. Retaining it allowed the surrounding visual language to evolve without interrupting that continuity. Deep brown replaced the original olive, introducing a warmer tone that complemented the material character of the work.
The move to Shopify supported the expanding collection and gave the team a more manageable platform for retail. Across the identity and website, the approach was to make the broader offer feel like a natural development of Hause.

Closing thought
The evolution centred on knowing what to retain. Keeping the mark gave Hause continuity, while changes to colour and the digital experience created room for the business to grow.
