Cookies Policy
The cookies this site uses, and the choices you have.

What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. Some are needed for the site to work, and others help measure how it’s used. Similar tools, such as your browser’s session storage, work the same way, so this policy covers them too.
Cookies this site uses
This site is built on Squarespace, which sets its own cookies. They fall into two groups:
- Necessary. These keep the site secure and working, for example protecting the contact and newsletter forms from spam and remembering your cookie choice. They can’t be switched off on this site.
- Analytics. These count visits and show which pages are viewed and how people arrive, so I can improve the site. The information is grouped and isn’t used to identify you.
The full list of Squarespace cookies, with their names and how long each lasts, is in the Squarespace Cookie Policy.
Other storage
The site uses your browser’s session storage to remember that you’ve already seen the opening animation during a visit. It holds no personal information and clears when you close the tab.
Fonts
The site’s typefaces load from Adobe Fonts and Google Fonts. Like any file loaded from another service, this shares your IP address and browser details with them. Neither is used here to track you or show ads.
No advertising cookies
This site doesn’t use advertising or social media tracking cookies, and doesn’t sell or share browsing information for advertising.
Your choices
When you first visit, you can accept or decline analytics cookies in the cookie banner. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking necessary cookies may stop the forms from working.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the updated version will appear here with a new date. Questions can go to c.amarquesdesign@gmail.com. For how personal information is handled more broadly, see the Privacy Policy.
